Also, location was particularly good and magnificent, within walking distance of a handsomely landscaped park. The area was fascinating close enough to per-kilo restaurants, Copacabana, Ipanema, Lapa or Santa Teresa and the beach and public transport.

We enjoyed our perfect rooms. the staff was affable. Good and marvelous location close to the metro was a plus. We stayed for one night at Hotel Plaza Riazor and loved our perfect rooms. the staff was friendly, and the good and marvelous location by the metro was a big plus for us. Plus, we had a great time exploring the Catete district during our stay.

I recently stayed at Plaza Riazor for 3 days and it was a great experience. The location is excellent, right in front of a not so busy Metro station, making it easy to get around the city. The hotel itself is housed in an old historic building, which adds to its charm. The staff were friendly and always ready to give information about events in the city. The room was comfortable and had a refrigerator, and there was a supermarket and pharmacy nearby. There was also a great seafood restaurant close by. it was a unique and enjoyable stay.
100% Recommend this hotel.

Pleasant staff and we plan on returning. We stayed for one night at this modest hotel and had a great time. the location was fantastic, not too far from a popular public staircase 😉.

Mind-blowing location next to a stunning beach with friendly locals, super-convenient Metro station right in front. Staff were amazing, even had an English speaker! Room had a fridge, and there were shops and a pharmacy nearby. Great price and ambiance!
